As a partner of Martin, DeCruze & Company, John brings more than 17 years of diverse tax, audit, and business consulting experience to his business and individual tax clients. John joined the firm in 2001, after working for other CPA firms in Westchester, New York.  Shortly thereafter, John was promoted to partner of the firm.

John has been providing accounting, auditing and tax services to a wide range of clients and business industries.  Individual and business clients reside and or operate in more than than 30 U.S. States and operate in several foreign countries.

John specializes in individual and small to medium sized closely held businesses.  Specialized industries include, but are not limited to, manufacturing, construction contractors, rental real estate and the consulting services industry. 

John has expertise in providing comprehensive accounting services, including individual, corporate, partnership, and trust tax returns.  Other services include audits, reviews and compilations of financial statements and specialized engagements relating to budget analysis, cash flow projections, controller services and consulting on computerized accounting systems.

John is licensed as a CPA in Connecticut and New York.  John received his Bachelor of Science degree with a Major in Public Accounting from Fordham University in 1996.  John is fluent in Portuguese and Spanish.

He is currently a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Connecticut State Society of Certified Public Accountants, the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants and the Estate Planning Council of Lower Fairfield County.
