Greg’s responsibilities at Martin, DeCruze & Company include tax planning and supervision of tax preparation for both closely-held businesses and large, multi-state companies, many of which operate in all fifty states and overseas. For our larger clients, Greg works on tax provisions to assist clients in compliance with ASC 740. He also manages sales and use tax compliance, and tax preparation for estates, trusts and high net worth individuals. 

Greg’s business clients are diverse and operate in various industries, including professional services, education, wholesale, technology/software, construction contracting, and real estate.

Greg is licensed as a CPA in New York, and he is currently a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants (NYSSCPA), the Connecticut Society of Certified Public Accountants (CTCPA), the Estate Planning Council of Lower Fairfield County, and the Exit Planning Exchange.  In addition, he is a board member, tax committee chair, and co-chair of the young professional group (NextGen) of the Westchester Chapter of the NYSSCPA.  He is also involved with other various young professional groups.

Greg joined Martin DeCruze & Company, LLP in January 2005, shortly after graduating college, and he was promoted to partner in 2016.  Greg attended Lee University in Cleveland, Tennessee from 2000 to 2004. He graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and a minor in Business Administration.  He also received a Master of Science in Taxation from Northeastern University.  

In his spare time, Greg enjoys racing cars, snowboarding, hockey, and playing guitar.
